AFC on Working Groups of Planning Commission

Planning Commission has set up 12 working groups for Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-12).
AFC is associated with two groups as under.

I) Working Group on Outreach of Institutional Finance and Co-operative Reforms for Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-2012)

	Shri Y C Nanda, Member, National Commission on Farmers, Government of India and Chairman, Board of Directors of Agricultural Finance Corporation is Chairman of the Group of Group No I
	Dr K G Karmarkar, Managing Director, National Bank for Agricultural & Rural Development (NABARD) is Member Secretary.

II) Working Group on Gender Issues, Panchayat Raj Institutions, Public Private Partnership, Innovative Finance and Micro-Finance in Agriculture for the Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-2012)

	Dr Indira Hirway, Director & Professor of Economics Center for Development Alternatives, Ahmedabad is Chairperson of the Group No II
	Shri S S Acharya, Executive Director, NABARD is Member Secretary.
	Shri A K Garg, Managing Director, Agricultural Finance Corporation Limited (AFC) is Member of both the Groups
