AFC FOUNDATION

AFC FOUNDATION is a non-profit, non-political and secular in character and works towards the development of humanity-particularly those belonging to the deprived and marginalized sections, irrespective of their religion, race, caste, creed or location.


Objectives of the AFC FOUNDATION

Poverty alleviation and Livelihood Promotion : to take-up, promote and support various development initiatives for the socio-economic development of weaker sections and provide them with sustainable livelihood opportunities through financial and non-financial services. To undertake micro-finance activities, to act as Micro-Finance Institution (MFI)/Micro-Finance Organization (MFO) directly or through any intermediary.

Environmental upgradation & Natural Resources Management : to promote and support projects/ initiatives for pollution control, upgradation of environment and natural resources management in the country.

Educational: to train and educate or to establish or assist any formal / informal /technical educational institutions for teaching, guidance, counseling or vocational training and or to grant individual scholarships for poor, deserving and needy students for elementary and higher education. To conduct seminars, workshops, exposure visits.

Relief and Rehabilitation: to provide support for relief and rehabilitation of the poor and the needy persons, affected by various natural calamities/disaster / disease / epidemic or otherwise in both urban and rural areas.

Public health and Medical Support : To run, maintain or assist any medical set up /establishment for combating various diseases, epidemics, etc. including HIV/ AIDS, malaria and other diseases.


Research & Development: To carryout any research and/or development activities in the fields of education, health care, agriculture, micro-finance, rural development, empowerment of poor, etc. for improving the quality of life pertaining particularly to the disadvantaged and weaker sections.

Millenium Development Goals: To work for any other objectives as set for MDG by United Nations and Government of India.
